PACKAGING manufacturer Macpac has announced that its in-house design team has added a number of new packs to the firm’s ‘ready-to-post’ and plug Plantpac range to help customers through busy online sales.
The firm said its raw materials are both high in recycled content as well as being 100% recyclable. All materials used to produce the Plantpac range are said to have at least 80% recycled content within the material and will therefore not be subject to the upcoming Plastics Packaging Tax, due to come into effect in April.
Macpac claims that its fully recyclable plug and potted plant transit range has been helping growers and nurseries sell via mail order for over 10 years. The company offers transit packaging solutions for shipping saplings in small plug formats through to large potted plants.
New products ready for Spring 2022 are: 2P13 (2x13cm pots clampack); 3P10.5 (3×10.5 pots clampack); 1P1525 (1x15cm pot clampack); and 5P 915 (5x9cm pot clampack).
