COP26 delegates have been provided with a 100% recycled aluminium bottle from Re:Water.
The bottles are also fully recyclable and feature a bespoke COP26 custom-label, with them being billed as a ‘genuine solution’ to single-use plastic.
Re:Water said that its use of 100% recycled aluminium means that 95% less energy is used in the bottle’s production, compared to if new aluminium was used.
Re:Water co-founder, Matt Crocker, said, “Reducing carbon emissions and battling climate change is high on the agenda at COP26, which is where it should be. Effecting consumer behaviour must be a priority for governments, making sustainable, ethical choices easy.
“It’s great to see COP26 leading by example, reducing plastic with a custom-label product from Re:Water, which is a sustainable, convenient and genuine alternative to plastic.”
