PITREAVIE Packaging is launching a recruitment drive to fill a further 14 production operative roles at the firm’s site in Cumbernauld.
The production department is looking to recruit die cutter operators, flexographic printers and gluing/finishing operators.
Pitreavie’s 57,000 sq ft sheet plant in Cumbernauld is capable of manufacturing 30,000,000 boxes a year and features an innovation centre where customers can create bespoke packaging solutions, taking design samples home on the same day.
The firm took occupation of the site in late 2019 with an initial £3.8 million investment. A further £1.2 million commitment was made earlier this year, with three major pieces of kit due to arrive in the coming weeks.
Pitreavie Group MD Stephen Heslop said, “The business has grown beyond our expectations, and we are delighted with the progress we have made since our initial investment. Our team has expanded significantly in the last two years to meet demand and we are now looking to fill 14 additional roles.
