THE BCMPA, the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment & Logistics, has expressed its delight at being a headline sponsor at CHEMUK, which takes place at the Birmingham NEC on September 15 and 16.
This is the first CHEMUK since its launch in 2019, and the first event of its kind that the BCMPA has attended since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Five other other BCMPA members – Cod Beck Blenders, Grotech Production, Libra Speciality Chemicals, Maker Industrial and Safapac – will take their place in a 350-strong exhibitor line-up, where they will highlight the benefits of outsourcing services within the chemical sector.
More than 45 firms in the BCMPA’s membership provide contract manufacturing services in this sector, which has grown since the pandemic.
As part of CHEMUK 2021, BCMPA CEO Rodney Steel and Caitlin Rafferty (sales and marketing manager at Maker Industrial), will be speaking on Thursday 16th at 11.40am about the advantages of outsourcing and how they benefit those looking to outsource their chemical projects by offering greater flexibility, overcoming the logistical issues arising from Brexit, and support with labelling and legislation.
Rodney Steel said, “We are delighted to be exhibiting at CHEMUK again, supporting BCMPA members in the world of chemical contract manufacturing. The 2019 event was hugely productive both in terms of networking and new enquiries, and I have little doubt that the 2021 event will match and probably surpass it.”
