IVOR Milne has been appointed regional sales manager for Scotland at machinery specialist Loma Systems.
He was most recently a sales engineer with coding and marking equipment supplier Markem-Imaje UK. Prior to that he worked for food manufacturers in Scotland.
Ivor will report to Ian Craig, Loma’s international sales & service director. Ian said, “We are delighted to welcome Ivor to the team. He will be instrumental in helping us improve food production, quality, effectiveness and safety, as well using his hands-on engineering background to understand our Scottish customers’ current challenges and product inspection needs.”
Ivor added, “I’m really looking forward to the role and getting to know my customers. I am fortunate to have had a good insight into the food industry and the rules and regulations relating to manufacturing, so I’ll be well placed to understand many of the issues faced by customers and what solutions to recommend.”
