DATALASE has appointed Michael Gault as its new sales manager for Ireland. He will be tasked with driving sales of coding and marking solutions from the firm, part of the SATO Group.
DataLase described its Case Coding as an ‘innovative, highly efficient and sustainable’ way to apply shipping information onto corrugated boxes, while DataLase Product Coding is said to provide a new solution for the printing of high contrast black-on-white codes for primary packaging.
Michael, who is based in Derry said, “I have a great deal of experience in the technology sector, so it is fantastic for me to be a part of the team introducing this latest technical innovation to the packaging world. The DataLase technology is incredibly exciting and I’m looking forward to meeting with businesses and explaining how the Case Coding Solution works.
“DataLase has already secured deals with some high profile brands across Ireland so this is an exciting time to be joining such a rapidly growing business. I am very much looking forward to bringing these unique technologies to market, meeting with existing and potential customers and demonstrating the incredible benefits of DataLase coding and marking technologies.”
Mike Toner, sales director at DataLase added, “With Michael’s years of experience in building relationships and his excellent technical knowledge, he will prove a huge asset to us in this important role. He has a proven track record of developing new business opportunities and is as comfortable working with SMEs as he is with global corporations, making him ideally suited for this strongly customer-oriented role. We would all like to welcome Michael to the team and look forward to sharing in his continued success.”
