LIGHTWEIGHT Containers has announced a new investment in Australia in the form of two new warehouses, based in Melbourne and Brisbane.
The specialist in one-way PET kegs said the facilities provide extra capacity for the firm’s KeyKeg and UniKeg products, adding that the move will provide quicker delivery times for customers and also reduce the company’s carbon footprint and transport costs.
The move follows investment in warehouses in other markets including the UK and Spain.
Lightweight Containers has also added to its Australian sales team with the appointments of Tim Bakker, based in Adelaide, and Raymond Kent, based in Melbourne.

Our additional warehouse space and new hires means that we can continue to provide our customers with the very best products and service, as well as expand our footprint in the wider Asian market.”
