PDM 2019 postponed amid Brexit “uncertainty”

The event was scheduled to take place in Manchester in June

ORGANISERS of the Plastics Design & Moulding Event (PDM) have revealed the show has been postponed for two years, citing the “current economic climate” as leaving firms hesitant to exhibit.

PDM 2019 was due to take place in Manchester in June. However, Crain Communications and the British Plastics Federation have announced the next edition will now take place in 2021.

“Working with the BPF, we assembled a show rich in seminars, workshops and expert advice covering all aspects of plastics design, manufacture and recycling to attract UK plastics professionals to Manchester for PDM 2019,” said Matt Barber, sales and events director at Crain Communications. “Unfortunately, the current economic climate, shrouded by the uncertainty of Brexit, has meant companies are hesitant to invest in this year’s event as exhibitors. It is with great regret that we have had to take the difficult decision to postpone until 2021.”

PDM exhibitors with questions are advised to contact their PDM sales representative.
