KM Packaging has appointed Stephen Upton to the role of business unit director to support its growth plans this year.
The flexible packaging and lidding films supplier said the role will see Stephen responsible for spearheading the company’s moves to drive new business in the European and Middle Eastern markets.
Stephen has held a variety of roles within corporate and small and medium enterprise (SME) environments, including as founder of branded packaging SME Indigo Concept Packaging. In his spare time, he mentors underachieving teenagers to help them realise their potential.
Stephen said, “I am very excited to be joining KM Packaging during such a dynamic period of growth. I am passionate about using my inclusive leadership style, creativity and strategic, probing mindset to drive new business development, particularly in previously untapped sectors. I look forward to building strong relationships with both KM’s existing European customers and implementing strategy to create new business connections across the European and Middle Eastern markets.”
Graham Holding, commercial director at KM Packaging added, “Stephen’s extensive experience, both in the packaging sector and beyond, will be invaluable to help drive the company’s strategic growth programme forward through 2019 and beyond. We are absolutely delighted to have him on board.”
