SAICA Pack has introduced a ‘Digital Briefcase’ application to improve its sales process and offer customers a complete packaging solution.
The application is described as mapping out the full lifecycle of a product to provide a “seamless” manufacturing process. The Digital Briefcase considers eight steps of a product’s journey: inbound logistics, operations, outbound logistics, retailer logistics, marketing & sales, end-user, recovery and sustainability.
Saica said that by “drilling down further” into each step, opportunities to make improvements are highlighted.
