INDUSTRIAL weighing and inspection technology manufacturer Minebea Intec is offering an enhancement to its load cell PR 6201.
The load cell Inteco is said to provide customers from various industries with a “significantly” extended range of possibilities, ranging from fill quality control to high-precision weighing of even the heaviest silos and containers.
Inteco has been developed to make the most of the opportunity for optimisation, according to the manufacturer. The analogue output signal of 2 mV/V is described as setting a market standard, ensuring flexibility when selecting weighing electronics. It also offers higher load levels of up to 75t.
The dimensions of the load cell have remained the same as the old version, to allow for easy replacement.
“Change is not always the best option. In line with our focus on the customer, all technical parameters of the load cell PR 6201 have been retained, meaning new mounting kits and fixed bearings are not necessary when upgrading to the Inteco,” explained Holger Nichelmann, global product manager at Minebea Intec. “This way, we can ensure a smooth and economic upgrade for our customers in the long term too.”
