Future trends on the agenda at CCE International

ORGANISERS of the 4th edition of CCE International have confirmed more than 150 exhibitors from 23 countries have signed up to appear at the event for the corrugated and folding carton industry.

Held at the Munich Trade Fair Centre from March 12-14, the show preview is now available in both print and online.

The corrugated and folding carton sector is said to be benefiting from growing online trade and the trend towards recyclable and sustainable packaging. Liljana Goszdziewski, exhibition director of CCE International, on behalf of the organisers Mack Brooks Exhibitions, said, “The economic situation of the industry is thoroughly positive, but it is important to catch up with the latest trends, such as the customers’ demand for individualisation and the new opportunities that digitalisation offers.

“CCE International indicates future trends to the corrugated and folding carton industry and remains the most important meeting point for industry experts.”

The event will continue its series of open seminars this year. The seminars will focus on issues such as digital print, sustainability and converting techniques. Among other presentations, British Converting will hold a session titled ‘Digital Print Trends in Short-Run Boxmaking’, Sun Automation Group will cover the topic ‘Digital Corrugated – Creating Value from the Same Box’ and EFI Electronics for Imaging will discuss the topic ‘Driving Sustainability with Trailer Planning Solutions’.

Visitors can order the show preview free of charge from the exhibition website. The preview contains profiles of exhibitors and their products, exhibitor lists (sorted alphabetically and by exhibit categories), the exhibition profile, an excerpt from the seminar programme and an article about opportunities and challenges of inkjet in corrugated printing production by Marcus Timson, a specialist in printing applications, and Phil Jackman, global product manager at Digital SunJet.
