Smurfit Kappa’s new-look website earns award recognition

SMURFIT Kappa’s new website has been honoured with a 2018 Sitecore Experience Award.

The packaging giant’s site was commended by judges for building a ‘truly customer-centric digital environment.’

Users can search for hundreds of packaging products in three different ways and refined by sector and location in a matter of seconds. The new site used videos and case studies to provide information on sustainability, innovation, careers and financial results.

The choice of software chosen to build the website was Sitecore, which is is also behind sites for brands including Dow Chemical, L’Oreal and Procter & Gamble.

Damian Devaney, Smurfit Kappa VP of marketing communications said, “This website represents another step forward in our ongoing digital transformation. We are delighted to have received this award but it’s just the start. Our website is a living, breathing entity that we will continue to test, augment and enhance over time in line with our digital growth plans.”
