Encore eyes growth with four new appointments

PRINT and packaging supplier Encore Group has made a number of new appointments in a bid to expand its team and accommodate growth.

The firm, which has bases in County Durham, Tyne & Wear and Leeds, produces packaging items including corrugate and solid board boxes, direct mail packaging and e-commerce solutions.

Encore has appointed Chris Reilly as technical design and studio manager, having spent over two decades at another firm. He commented, “It’s exciting to join Encore and head up the team. The company has a great reputation and it’s an honour to be here and be a part of its future success.”

Daniel Moloney takes on the role of pre-press and CAD operator. With experience in dye-making and printing, his responsibilities will include creating samples and mock ups for production.

Daniel is joined by Alison Betts, who is taking on the role of internal sales account manager.

The fourth appointment is Gosia Grochowina, who will work in client services to coordinate production planning and source materials.

Ken Pearce, external sales manager at Encore Group commented, “Adding these experienced people to our team will allow us to grow the business through speed of response. We can increase our service levels to both existing and potential new clients, which we believe is paramount to the business.”

The group said it has managed to protect jobs in its Envelopes arm and make cost savings due to the acquisition of a £12 million envelop business in Leeds from administrators.

Its Packaging arm received AA BRC standard regulation earlier this year, which the group said has “opened a number of new doors”.
