TRI-Star Packaging has introduced a new addition to its deli pot range which the firm said brings “more world-first packaging innovation” to the food-to-go sector.
The KC Range has four round pots and is made from “premium high-clarity” rPET made partly from recycled plastic bottles.
Tri-Star said the pots are perfect for the likes of pasta, salad, olives, fruit, noodles and rice. The one-size-fits-all lid is said to enhance shelf life and eliminate leakage.
MD Kevin Curran said, “Our new KC Range is all things to all people in the food-to-go market. Its crystal-clear, smooth curves of rPET make this both stylish and prominent on the shelf. It is also sustainable to meet the unique but multiple needs of operators such as delis and food stalls, and to satisfy environmentally conscious consumers.”
