WAVEGRIP has added two new recruits to its engineering team in the shape of Grant Gordon and Idir Touhouche, who have taken on the roles of engineering project manager and graduate project engineer, respectively.
Grant, who has over 10 years’ experience in project management and engineering, joins the multi-packing specialist from Diageo-owned Zepf Technologies UK, where he was a design engineer specialising in bottling and packaging. He will be responsible for overseeing all engineering projects.
“This is an exciting time to join WaveGrip with its innovative range of sustainable multi-packing solutions,” Grant said. “Much of my work over the past 10 years has been within the beverage and FMCG sector and in my new role I will be able to use this experience to ensure that we deliver the products and solutions that our customers require.”
Idir joins WaveGrip after securing a first class MA in chemical engineering from University College London (UCL). He commented, “I’ve spent the last few years learning and training specifically for a job like this; I’m now very keen to hit the ground running and build on all my training in a professional business setting.”
Aaron McIvor, WaveGrip MD said, “With so many innovative projects and developments coming up this year for WaveGrip, now was the perfect time for expansion. These two appointments reflect our focus on growth and ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of both our existing and new customers.”
