HUGO Beck has announced it is meeting growing demand for hermetic seals in medical goods and pharmaceutical packaging.
The machinery manufacturer is seeing rising demand in these sectors for flowpack equipment that ensures the “highest degree” of air-tightness.
Hugo Beck described flowpack machines as being “ideal” for applications where a hermetic seal is required to ensure the hygiene of the final product. The firm’s X-D range was recently specified by a manufacturer of petri dishes.
Hugo Beck sales director Timo Kollmann said, “Air-tightness of the petri dish packaging was an essential requirement for this project. This, alongside the need to wrap a wide range of different pack sizes and bundles, has meant that our flowpack X-D machines with their unique personalisation set-up and capability to integrate within existing production environments, are delivering perfect results at speeds of up to 200 cycles per minute.”
