RPC Massmould has revealed its Secure Flip sports cap is being used across a number of PET bottles for bottled water giant Highland Spring.
The closure is available on the brand’s 330ml and 500ml Handy Packs and 750ml Active Packs.
RPC said that to support the distinctive appearance of Highland Spring’s packaging, the sustainable tamper-evident band within the closure features the brand’s familiar deep purple colour. Both parts of the band are retained within the closure after opening, so there is no requirement for disposal.
Targeted at on-the-move consumers, the Secure Flip’s thumb tab allows for one-handed opening. RPC added that the three–legged triskeles within the mouth of the closure prevents items being dropped into the drink or fingers getting stuck.
