PACKAGING machinery manufacturer Packaging Automation (PA) is celebrating after being featured in The Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100 league table for the first time.
The tray sealing and pot filling specialist placed 47th in the table, which ranks Britain’s SME companies with the fastest-growing international sales.
PA achieved a 57% increase in export sales and is on track to double its sales turnover over a five-year period. The firm’s technology is mainly utilised in the food sector, with PA claiming the increasing popularity of packaged goods in key overseas markets has fuelled the rapid growth.

Export sales is an important aspect of this strategy and we are delighted to have been identified as one of the top 100 SME exporters in the UK.”
