REPRESENTATIVES from the Japanese Glass Bottlers Association recently toured Ardagh’s glass bottle manufacturing plant in Irvine.
Ardagh said the group was impressed by the “general cleanliness and efficiency” of the facility and took particular interest in how the plant was increasing its use of recycled glass.
Graeme Shepherd, director of operations, Irvine, Ardagh Glass UK said, “This is one of a number of visits to the plant by international groups, and it again gives us an opportunity to showcase the contribution we make to the spirits industry in Scotland and the local economy,”
