Terinex

Catering solutions company Terinex recently acquired QC Packaging Films.

QC Packaging Films specialise in the production of printed film for food and pharmaceutical packaging.

Terinex is investing in a new eight-colour HD Comexi printing press along with a solventless laminator and a high-speed slitter in order to boost the new venture.

The companies can now offer “tailored, high quality printing to customers who demand the best in food and pharmaceutical packaging across a range of different types of film including PET and BOPP”, according to a spokesperson.

Paul Wightman, group managing director at OGM Holdings, said, “This acquisition was made on the basis of combining the strength and expertise of QC’s management and staff with the support, investment and backup available from Terinex to exploit the growing flexible printed packaging market.”
