Two RPC packs have been recognised for their convenience benefits at the World Food Innovation Awards.
Both the EasySnacking container from RPC Superfos and the Yowk pack rom RPC Bebo were named as finalists in the Best Convenience/’On-the-Go’ Packaging category.
The EasySnacking container, available in 210ml and 300ml sizes, features a one-piece injection-moulded spoon in the lid, making it well suited for a range of convenience foods such as soup and yogurt. For manufacturers and retailers, the container is easily stackable.
The Yowk pack includes a pre-boiled egg, breadstick, a spoon and seasoning. The customer removes all contents apart from the egg and fills the container with boiling water. The egg is ready to eat after five minutes, with the lid doubling as an egg cup.
This year’s World Food Innovation Awards saw 240 entries from 25 countries across 20 categories.
