DEREK Quirk has been named Macfarlane Group PLC’s new company secretary.
Mr Quirk joined the protective packaging specialists as director of group risk in December. He joins Macfarlane Group’s executive committee and will act as Secretary to the Board and its committees. He also provides legal support and heads up the Group’s Internal Audit function.
He previously worked at FTSE 250 company, BBA Aviation plc, where he was head of internal audit for the group and financial controller for the company’s aftermarket division.
