Frimpeks®, a manufacturer of self-adhesive laminates, has announced the recruitment of Dave Casey to head up its newly founded UK-based operation.
Frimpeks® UK has invested heavily in laminating and slitting equipment that has now become operational from its Suffolk-based manufacturing facility. The 25,000 square foot facility has already employed 14 local staff since January and will produce self-adhesive laminates for the Western European markets. The existing Frimpeks® plant in Renscheid, Germany produces hot melt self-adhesive laminates. These compliment the water based laminates produced in the UK and will give the company a full range of product for their target markets.
Dave has been recruited from Rotometrics and has 28 years knowledge of the global label industry. Dave originally qualified as an engineer in the narrow web label press market. As such, his technical knowledge of self-adhesive laminate conversion is unsurpassed. This, together with his 19 years global sales experience with Rotometrics make him a force to be reckoned with as the head of Frimpeks® UK.

Dave has also been given the responsibility for the European sales strategy and will be recruiting a team of six sales personnel.
