As from now, a new Spare Parts Shop allows SIG Combibloc customers from all over the world to order all their spare parts online – 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Norbert Schmitz, Head of Global Service Projects, explained, “For our food and beverage industry customers, keeping production efficient and highly competitive means that the equipment installed has to run smoothly, reliably and at a very productive rate. That includes being able to obtain required spare parts, for example for inspections or maintenance, quickly and in a simple way. Here, our new Spare Parts Shop offers the best service.
“It takes just minutes to place an order, even if the customer doesn’t have the part number to hand. A variety of search options will take you straight to the correct spare part – quickly and easily.”
Predefined shopping carts make ordering spare parts for periodic inspections and maintenance projects a breeze. Of course, customers still have the option of placing individual orders. This can be done in a user-friendly way, for instance, by uploading a file. Norbert Schmitz added, “In addition, the online shop displays the orders and delivery status in detail. This gives the customer an overview of his orders whenever he wants, enabling him to plan his resources more efficiently.”
Customers receive log-in details for the SIG Combibloc Spare Parts Shop from their Service Account Managers or the regional Service partners.
