New face in corrugated industry aims high

SUN Automation Group has announced that Bob Matthis has joined the company to further develop its SUN625® Rotary Die Cutter (RDC) initiatives.

The SUN625 RDC is a fixed-frame, vertically opening flexo printing machine capable of feeding, printing, and converting at elevated production speeds. It is designed to produce high quality containers in a 24/7 production environment. Bob Matthis comes with a wealth of experience, having served in engineering, sales and marketing roles for global corporations, including Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc., KBR, Toshiba and Schneider Electric.

In his new role as SUN625 Product Sales Manager, Bob will optimise product development, identify market opportunities, and provide and implement high quality solutions for customers. “I am excited to start a new challenge within SUN Automation and look forward to working with the team to further develop this incredible machine,” he said. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on innovation and top quality service.”
