Yamato Scale Dataweigh (UK) Ltd and Trepko (UK) Ltd will be holding a two-week open house event from the 18th November 2013 to raise awareness for the benefits of weighing and filing technology. Packaging professionals are invited to discover how the technology can improve efficiency and accuracy in the packaging process.
With live demonstrations, attendees at the open house event in Leeds will see first-hand how Yamato’s Omega Multihead Weigher and Trepko’s Rotary machine can improve the packaging process with a focus on products that can be weighed in to pots, such as nuts, fruits, confectionary or snacks. Attendees are also invited to bring along their own products, which will be used to create dedicated demonstrations live at the event.
Yamato’s Omega Multihead weigher helps improve both the accuracy and speed of the weighing process. The Omega Multihead weigher applies groundbreaking technology to improve productivity as it operates at speeds of more than 200 weighments per minute (WPM) and increases yield weighers of up to 1.6 per cent. The system also boasts improved environmental responsiveness – by offering a reduction in power consumption of 60 per cent – ease-of-operation and food safety.
Demonstrations of the Trepko 221K Rotary machine will also be available, offering a single lane tub and lid filling and sealing machine with a servo depositing station and an open top frame which is specifically designed for integration with a Multihead weigher. Capable of outputs of up to 14,000 cups per hour, four machine sizes are available dependent on the required output, container size and options required each with different frame sizes and number of lanes.
Steven Spencer, Sales Manager for Yamato Scale Dataweigh, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Trepko and host this two-week open house event. By inviting packaging professionals and engineers from the industry to join us, we can help manufacturers transform production using weighing and filling machinery. It’s a great opportunity to talk about the technology and see it in practice. We can’t wait to speak to the attendees on the day and help them fulfil their weighing and filling needs.”
The open house event, which runs from Monday 18th – Friday 29th November, takes place at the Yamato Scale Dataweigh (UK) headquarters in Leeds, West Yorkshire. For more information or to book your place for this event, please contact Andrea Spencer on andrea.spencer@yamatoscale.co.uk.
