Premium pack takes Grampian design gong

Luxury biscuit brand Mary Steele has been awarded a Grampian Food Forum Innovation Award for its packaging design.

Luxury biscuit brand Mary Steele has been awarded a Grampian Food Forum Innovation Award for its packaging design.

Designed by Edinburgh based creative branding agency, threebrand, the suite of packaging for Mary Steele Luxury Biscuits was awarded the Best Packaging Award at a ceremony held on Thursday 21st March in Aberdeen.
Launched in 2012 the Mary Steele range is manufactured and managed by premium shortbread and biscuit maker Dean’s, and “reflects a passion for fantastic hand baking”, according to the company.
Fiona Scott, associate creative director at threebrand, commented: “We’re delighted to have been involved in the Mary Steele project and to have delivered standout packaging that is worthy of this award.
“It was important that the suite of packaging communicated a very premium message, whilst adding a luxurious and striking visual aspect to the Mary Steele brand.”
