PACKAGING machinery manufacturer Endoline Machinery has bagged a notable industry accolade for the second year on the trot.
The company scooped the Packaging Solutions award at the recent Food Processing Awards in recognition of a packing system installed at Oaklands Farm Eggs.
The new machinery helped the egg producer pack over 1.4 million eggs per day and was one of several successes Endoline experienced in the egg market with over 40% of all export sales over the preceding 12 months generated from this industry.
Working in tandem with Moba – the global solutions provider of egg grading, packing and processing equipment – for both this award winning packaging line and a preceding line within another Oaklands plant – has led to a number of projects where both companies have combined their individual strengths in Northern Ireland, the Netherlands and Ukraine.
“Egg handling plants can operate up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week with very high throughput volumes so robust and reliable machinery is paramount to this industry,” said Paul Buisman, product manager from Moba.
“The Endoline equipment consistently delivers to a high specification offering ease of use when integrated into an egg production line alongside our grading machines.”
Endoline’s managing director and chairman Alan Yates added: “I do believe that the success of this line, and our subsequent relationship with Moba, is testament to our decision to remain a UK based company – designing and building our machines in-house often to a bespoke specification to meet individual customer needs. I am extremely proud of the team here and this win demonstrates the high standards which they consistently deliver.”
