GLASS manufacturer Beatson Clark has appointed a new design engineer to head up the company’s design team. Dean Arey (pictured) takes over from Alan Haigh, who retired in October.
The 36-year-old has worked in glass packaging design for the last 12 years. His previous role as senior product designer for a leading glass manufacturer has provided him with a broad knowledge of the industry and a wealth of experience in glass design, project management and 3D CAD technology.
The firm has also appointed a new field sales executive. Louise Roke will be travelling around the UK generating new leads and contacts. Louise gained seven years’ sales experience in the mobile phone industry before moving into media sales. She has spent the last eight years selling commercial advertising, mainly for Northcliffe Media.
